This place in particular is the reason why I rarely eat at Gold Star anymore. I love their chili, but for the price, the portions of the chili and spaghetti dishes are small compared to Skyline or similar restaurants. The final straw for this particular location, is that they wanted to charge me 25 cents for an extra packet of crackers in the drive-thru. I ordered a large and that typically comes with two packets.
Worst food I've eaten in a long time . got dog chili on everything . gross .shredded cheese on fries . over paid for food we barely touched. The waitress asked how our food was we told her we didn't like so instead of trying to make it right she says to us well everyone's opion is different she had a bad attitude . $45.00 and my family is still hungry .National Coney island is the best .
Much bigger menu than other Cincy chili places. Deli sandwiches, shakes, decent vegetarian options

When I asked for another that when I was told of the charge, even though another worker said that is allowed. I settled on that and took that as their standard. But on the next visit, my wife was with me so we ordered two large 3-ways. When we got our order, it had only two packs of crackers total. I said something and I was told of the extra charge for more. This despite that they give two packets for just one large order. Never again.
Coney dogs are great. Fries are even better. Good service. Not very busy when we went.
